Understand that this is new to everyone and not just me, however wondering if anyone has worked out a way to make all of 'My Music' available offline? It seems you can only do it one song at a time? Or am I missing a trick?

Thanks,

Dave

Just a wild idea, but if you find a away to add all your music to a single playlist, then you could just make that playlist available offline. Not sure though if there is a way to easily pull all your music into a playlist. Perhaps by creating a smart playlist in iTunes?

easiest way i found was on itunes...

cmd-A to select all songs then right click - make available offline. a little icon comes up top right showing download progress of any Apple Music songs sat around your existing owned music

any music on itunes which is in the cloud with Apple Music shows a cloud bottom right of the album art. when this cloud has gone its local on your mac - then you sync as normal.

then when on apple music on ios, make sure you click 'make available offline' on music you want instead of 'add to my music'

intuitive right!

You would think the "make offline option" from the dotted line next to Edit will do the trick ....i ended up adding some manually for commute. I'd give it time to complete the downloads

I'm doing that but I have an issue. I created an "All Music" playlist and set it to download offline.

I assume therefore as I browse Apple Music I should be able to just click "Add to playlist" and it should start automatically downloading.

It doesn't. I click to add the song, then go and look and it's not in the playlist. It's in my library, but not downloaded. I need to re-add it to the playlist but it STILL doesn't have the downloaded icon, so I need to AGAIN press "Make available offline".

This isn't sustainable for hundreds of songs!
