Hi,

I have a rather funny problem with Apple Music. I can't add particular songs to my library. The band "2NE1" has two albums ("Crush") titled exactly the same on Apple Music (the songs are also titled the same). However one time it's the Korean versions of the songs and one time the Japanese versions. The problem: I can only add one version of the songs but the second version can't be added (it says "added to library") but 1 sec later the cloud icon disappears and the "+" symbol reappears. I guess it's because the artist, album and song titles are exactly the same (aside from capital/small letters). Is there any possibility to still add the two versions of the songs?

Thanks in advance and many greets
Chris

Did you purchase the song directly? Or you just added it on your Library? If you purchase it directly from iTunes or Added from Apple Music, there should be no problem but if you imported it outside iTunes, There are instances it’s not going to show up on top (if it is arranged by date added) on your iPhone but it’s there you just have to search it. If not restart iTunes, and try to add it again.

Thank you for your response. I didn’t purchase the song. I tried to add it through Apple Music.

Wild stab: file names the same? Might try renaming the second file to something else.

Metadata maybe the same on both versions? That might be muddling things, so, get some mp3 metadata editing program to tweakmtrack two, or, mess around in iTunes with track one's metadata.

Thank you so much, that worked. Just to be clear, it wasn’t the case that I had these files locally on my PC and tried to add them to my library. Instead I added them through Apple Music and I didn’t even know that I can change the metadata there but I could :)

Could be your Apple Music is not sync through iTunes. Cause there are 2 ways to sync. One is to add them through Music directly, and one is if you add it on your iTunes Library, it will automatically sync on your Apple Music
