I did a brief search on this with no luck.

Since signing up for Apple Music and using iTunes music library, the music I’ve had for years is changing. I’m hearing different versions of songs and a lot of my music is now censored.

Is there a way to disable this? There’s nothing in Music settings to address either issue.

Thanks in advance.

Check settings>General>Screen Time>Content and Privacy Restrictions>Content Reatrictions>and make sure explicit content in music isn’t enabled.

Screen time has never been enabled on any of my phones. I checked anyway and it’s off.

The weird thing is the different versions of songs I own replacing my library. And the censoring isn’t all music. Just a few here and there.

It’s because it just matches up the names of the tracks with what they have on their servers.
Any tracks I don’t want changed I edit the title then upload it to the cloud.
As there’s no match for it, it stays as I want it.
