So why does apple music not let Siri play my downloaded songs. I have my own versions and instead Siri will play the apple music versions.

Is there no way for it do default to my own music first and then if nothing check for streaming?

Not sure what you mean, but you can try to log out your iTunes Store account and ask Siri to play the music. Will that still play Apple Music version?

For example. I have a different version of an album track that is on Apple Music. My version is extended ,when I ask Siri to play the song it plays the Apple Music version not mine. Which is a pain.

Well, I think this is what Siri was designed for for some reason. Maybe you could add something like “from my iPhone” to prevent it from searching Apple Music version instead.

To all my 9000 songs. That take forever. I would just rather it play my versions but if I don't have the song to use apple music

Uh, some quick forum search shows it is still impossible as of now to let Siri prioritise local library over Apple Music. Maybe things will change in later iOS 13 versions. idk.

Can you direct me? I didn't find anything.

so you are saying it will work with iOS 13. Im not following sorry.
Ok. I will say sorry first.

A few points.
1. I don’t use Siri and don’t use Apple Music.
2. That member seems realise Siri cannot reliably play music in local library compared to Apple Music library.
3. I have no idea whether Siri will prioritise local library or Apple Music library if a song is available locally in iOS 13. I hope it will.

I hope it will too.

that's why I was asking lol.

Its so strange that it can't just look at your library first and then if nothing go into apple stream.
