My cousin and I are both Apple Music subscribers, not living together.

I would like to sign us up for a Family plan, and add my mother, who lives at another address again.

In practice, is this acceptable to Apple?

No derisive responses, please. :)

Family Sharing doesn't require you to enter an address (from memory) so, in that sense, it is acceptable to Apple. You just add their Apple ID to your plan

Spotify is strict (and right now getting very stricter) on addresses matching and all people to live at this 1 address.

Who? Apple?

Probably not but it's not as appealing to add people who aren't your family to Apple's Family Sharing as they'll then get access to a lot more than just Music - plus their purchases end up with you so Spotify ends up the more attractive option for people who share 1 account

So my cousin invited both me and and my mother to their family.

I joined just fine, but when my mother clicks on the invitation link, iOS says: “Family Invitations: Select an invitation to continue.”

Beneath that is a completely blank box, no invitations at all.

Any tips?
