I have been using music through Apple Music as the sound for the alarm clock. However, I have noticed that it is using my media volume, instead of ringer volume. Regular alarm sounds use the ringer volume, and I thought the Apple Music songs did too, at least they used to.

Can someone else test using an Apple Music song as an alarm sound and tell me if it uses your media volume or ringer volume?

Hey I just tested the alarm on my iPad and the song from Apple Music played using the ringer volume. Try disabling and reenabling the alarm or reuse ring the song. A restart may also help.

Thanks for taking the time to respond!
I tried a restart, and I'll try to create a new alarm.

BTW, was the song you used in device, or was it just being streamed?

Sorry to intrude on this thread, but.. anyone know a way to have it use a random song on a playlist to wake you up? Or is that not possible?
