I've had 3 long phone calls with Apple support now in the past week or so. There has been no resolve and no explanation other than "wait and see," but my issue is my "for you" tab on iOS and iTunes will not load data.

On iOS devices (iPhone 6S+, iPad Air 2 & iPad Pro 12.9 all on beta previously and GM as of today) and on my iTunes on my iMac (v12.5.1.21).

I get an error message "Apple Music, an error occurred, try again" on iOS devices and just a flat pink line on my iTunes version of the tab.

I've restarted, reinstalled, erased all content and settings on my phone, no changes. I've rebooted, signed out and in on my iMac to no changes.

It is almost as if the issue is tied to my iCloud account as I have an iPhone 5C on iOS 10 and a different iCloud account and the For You section runs perfect.

Just reaching out to see if anyone else has had this issue?

6s+ here, on 10.0.1, no issues in the Apple Music app.

You said you're on "GM", but is that a fresh install of 10.0.1?

I have not restored in iTunes, but I deleted the beta profile, signed out of all other devices and erased and restored iPhone independent of iTunes.

I'm at a loss, the iTunes rep said there have been server issue reports and to wait a few days for the dust to settle.

Here is a screenshot of my specific error. Again, just seeing if anyone else has this issue as I have not been able to find any one else talking about it....

BTW, Apple Music works fine for me, I can add music, download and use radio. This issue is just the For You tab.

...and just like that. Waiting must have been the trick. I signed out on all devices but my iPhone 6s Plus. Restarted the app a few times and wham, spinning "loading wheel" for about 2 minutes. Restart app again and it loads For You as it should. Must have been the servers finally catching up to some of the demand of the day.

I'm seeing this a bunch on my 6s+ and iPad Air. Only my For You tab won't load. Do you have a big iCloud music library? I do and it meant Siri wouldn't work for the first few months of this year...I wonder if this is another bug related to large music libraries?

My iCloud Music library (I use Match as well) is about 200 albums or so. I really think the biggest contributor to getting this resolved was signing out on ALL devices but my phone. A few hours late it loaded up and has been fine ever since. I'm slowly signing back in on my other devices since the issue went away Tuesday evening.

Ok I have about 8500 albums so I'm in a different boat...

But I'll say yesterday, For You started basically working again. I say basically because it would work and then when I clicked on albums, track listings wouldn't show up. I'm wanting to believe this is just because they are getting a lot of new customers uploading their libraries and their servers are having a hard time. I do think iCloud has to build up a big cache to make everything appear. Today I was able to get everything to work reliably for the first time. Hopefully this is the last time I have to post!

Digging up an old post here, but this is happening to me right now. The For You tab is saying "We've run into a problem" with a box to click that says "Try again."

Anyone else seeing this?

Not seeing that. Pretty sure that's a network problem, though. I would either restart the phone or force quit the app, switch to different WiFi or cellular signal. This hasn't happened as much for me lately - I think this was just a matter of iCloud not being very good at caching big libraries, which has slowly been improving for me.

Same here, once it started working for me it has been fine ever since, even worked out some bugs of For You recommending me genres of music I have no taste for. I am happy with Apple Music in the 6/7 months or so since this tread was started. It has been much more stable for me lately.

Nah it doesn't have anything to do with the network or the device. It does this whether I'm on WiFi or LTE. And it does it on all my devices (iPhone, MacBook, Apple TV).
