Help!

I connected my phone to my Mac to charge and when I came back all my Apple Music has gone from my iPhone and iPad.

I have tried to restore my phone from earlier but there is still no music post restore.

How can I get all my music back???

Any help greatly appreciate

I think I have run into the same issue. I only manage my music via Cloud Music Library, so syncing my iPhone with my Mac has no effect on that media. I recently updated my MacBook Pro to macOS Catalina, meanwhile my iPhone X is running the latest public beta of iOS 13.2. Just today, I noticed that my Library was not syncing to my phone, so I was missing any music that I had acquired within the last few days through Apple Music or by importing into the Music app on my Mac.

In a somewhat desperate attempt to fix this, I toggled "Sync Library" on my iPhone off and back on, while being sure to select to keep the current Apple Music songs on my phone. Confusingly enough, even those songs were erased from the library on my phone. As of right now, I am stuck with only the songs that I had purchased on the iTunes Store, although my Library syncs perfectly fine on macOS.

With the understandably poor reputation macOS Catalina has been receiving and the fact that I am running beta software on my phone, I'm not sure which is to blame.

I'm wondering if this wasn't really an iOS issue. Over the weekend my iPhone 8 on 12.4 suddenly wouldn't play any music. I ended up logging out of iCloud, switching iCloud Music Library off/on etc. Had a bit of trouble signing back into iCloud on the iPhone but eventually got Apple Music and my library back.

Thankfully I still had Spotify so I used Stamp to re-sync 90% of my songs back over to Apple Music and I’ve had to manually re-add music.

Interestingly, there’s a ‘Liam’s Station’ and almost every song I skipped through was one I had in my library.

Still not happy but at least I have some music back...just lost the last 12 months of songs added to my library.

I had this issue yesterday as well. I fixed it by going into iTunes on my Mac and going to File, Library, Update iCloud Music Library and then my Apple music files synced back to my iPhone OTA.

Hey! So to provide an update on this issue, it seems that the new beta of iOS 13.2 has fixed it. I was able to add an album to my Library with my MacBook Pro running 10.15 and it synced back to my iPhone X just as the process used to work.

But just to be sure, I also tagged a song that wasn't already in my Library with Shazam. I have Apple Music linked to it, and the song was successfully added after it was identified as well. Fingers crossed this unsightly bug doesn't come back again!
