Every time I download an audio track from YouTube Studio to use in a video project, it automatically opens in Apple Music after the download finishes. Is there a way to stop this from happening? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I am completely new to most everything Mac and still learning all the basics. I also apologize if this is posted in the wrong forum. I wasn't sure which was the most appropriate for this question.

Using Safari and I am able to choose where to save to. Currently saving to an external drive.

Try:
Safari -> Preferences... -> General -> Untick 'Open "safe" files after downloading'
That should stop Apple Music from opening up automatically once the file has downloaded.
