So I don't listen to Kanye West but since now a popular album is affected it is in the news.

So far this past months Apple Music has been pulling a lot of older music.
For me the following albums are gone.

This is just in two months. Too say that Spotify and Play Music still have all the albums except Mousercise Apple Music is becoming pathetic at best.

I have seen the same happening with (mostly best-of / collection) albums from lynrd skynrd, robert palmer, no doubt, nazareth and the scorpions.
apple music keeps deleting albums and then replaces the songs with ones from other records - which messes up my library.

Apple or Spotify DON'T decide what music to 'pull'. It is the copyright's holder/record compony that decided. So the thread title is incorrect and should say something like "Record Companies keep pulling music from Apple Music".

When Apple Music started, all the iTunes content was made available for streaming (minus some album-only tracks and things like that).

Usually, the same version on iTunes of an album is on Apple Music for streaming, unless the artist/label requests to be only on one of them.

Anyway, the decision is always on the label, blaming Apple Music is silly. If an album is taken down try to get to know who owns it and then tell them if you can!

Then why can't you purchase them either?
That is BS that it is not Apple pulling the music. They are as it is still on Spotify and Play Music.

UPDATE 10:28 am: A rep for Def Jam told Stereogum that the label did not remove the album from Apple Music, blaming the issue on “some sort supply chain glitch.” The rep also said they’re working to get the album back up on the service.

This type of stuff happens all the time with digital content. Albums taken down, new versions getting uploaded again, albums available on iTunes but not Spotify or the other way around. It's messy but...

For instance, I've got a lot of iTunes purchased albums that are not longer on iTunes on the version I bought but new versions (some of them even with the same tracklist and songs).

Digital content and rights are tricky sometimes.

So they clam to have over 40 million songs so they get rid of good music too add more remixes of Cardi B.
