When trying the Apple Music app on my iPhone 13 Pro none of the music plays if I turn on lossless (whether its downloaded/cellular/wifi). The same happens if I turn on (or leave it on automatic) Dolby Atmos, it just stops working. So to listen to music I have to leave it on high quality with Dolby Atmos Off.

Running iOS 15.0.1, I didn't use a backup from an old iPhone. My iPhone 12 mini also on iOS 15.0.1 doesn't have this issue, its strange.

Other things I tried: Reseting Network settings (I initially thought it was a wifi issue)
Restarting my phone (done it a few times)
Reinstalled the music app

Probably unrelated but unlock with apple watch still doesn't work for me on 15.0.1.

Anyone else having the same issue(s)?

Having the same issue on my iPhone 12 mini and Macbook Pro 2020.

Both are running the latest IOS but no matter what I try to do, music on Lossless/Dolby is not working unless set to High Quality.

Did your issue start since you updated to the latest iOS/MacOS versions or have you been having it for a while now? I honestly am not sure if I tried music before 15.0.1 on my phone.

I have this problem as well, the lossless is working, but the Dolby atmos is not working, and if I change in settings to always on it shows that it is Dolby, but it’s not the quality of Dolby. In my Mac it’s working with no problem. And i also verify that the AirPods Pro are in the last software version, and the iPhone as well( 13 pro)
