Apple music now in German on Mac?

Why is it no longer using my iMac system language (US english)?? I signed out and signed in and it still is German though my app store for example is in English.

Also the interface has not been updated as my phone has. My iMac is on Catalina while my iPhone is on iOS 14 but it should not depend on that?

My iPhone music is in English though bizzarely the Apple shopping app is in German.

I should note I live in Geneva Switzerland, a French-speaking city in a majority German-speaking country. My localisation however is set to English for both my gagdets.

I have the same thing on my iMac. Apple Music is now in German while it used to be in english. Very annoying.

...and it's back to English but still missing the new features of Apple Music on iOS 14. I hope I am not forced to upgrade to Big Sur.

It's has now switched to French without me doing anything about it. I'd like if someone could explain to me how this works... I live near Nyon by the way.

Well there is something wrong on Apple's end becasue my music app on Catalina seemingly randomly switched from English to German when I open it. To be clear these are the headings in the interface, the app itself (menu, sidebar etc.) are always in English. No problem on my iPhone and I tried the AM webplayer and it is also in English matching my Apple id (appleid.apple.com). I give up...

Nothing more to add to this topic except I have the exact same behaviour as you. Started in German, switched a moment to French, then English. Launched Apple Music and it's back to German. Tiresome...
