Is there any way I can just have the music I've chosen to sync to my iPhone? I do not wish to see the songs I have purchased inside the app. If I wanted them there I'd have added them.
Also is there any way to remove the connect and radio tabs as I have no use for them.
Not an Apple Music subscriber, so finding this slightly annoying I just can't have just my music.
Any help would be very helpful

Thanks,
Richard.

You can browse just your music in "downloaded music" tab.
You need "restrictions" setting to remove "connect" but you have no way to remove radio.
I am also not an AM subscriber and find Apple becoming extremely annoying to routinely turn "show Apple Music" toggle back on if I turn it off.

If you’re not using Apple Music, then check out apps like Cesium, Ecoute or Marvis. They use developer APIs to integrate the iTunes music library, basically like a different front-end for your music library. It works particularly well for local music and omits all the social and streaming stuff.

Well at least Connect is removable. Thanks for pointing that out for me.I figured out the download music tab, its not ideal but will do for now.

The last version of the app had the option to only show download music on your device, its a shame that feature has gone. Think the music app is defiantly the worst thing about iOS 10. Been enjoying the iOS 10 update too, but the music app has kinda turned things sour for me.

I am the same, hate iOS 10 music app even though I am now used to it, sort of.

I, especially, hate the fact that Apple screws up everyone and force them to use Apple Music interface and eventually subscribe to Apple Music. At least 20% of my music (almost the entire Cinderella girls series, several μ's songs) is just not available in Apple Music. Why bother?

One day Apple will go too far.
