I would login to the account on the website and see if there are any residual devices on there. If there are not, contact apple support. Might need to be something they can fix on their end.

I did this - all fine. I also did a hard reset on iPhone, uninstall and reinstall music app. Still nothing.

If you’re using iTunes on a PC or the Music app on a Mac go to “Account” at the top menu then “view my account”. Once logged in look for manage devices and start deleting old devices there.

Thank You! I Was looking in iCloud devices. After deleting couple of devices from music app account on Mac, everything is back to normal. Thank You so much!

Apologies for the bump but I’m currently having this issue myself.

Is the only way to fix this issue via a Mac/PC on iTunes?
