I am not a millennium so I hate the music from today. Will Apple Music have music from the 70's, 80's and 90's or will it be all new junk only? Play Music has much music from the past decades.

If you can purchase it on iTunes then you can play it on apple music

That may not be true. As a matter of fact I would guess it'll be a subset. Albeit a large subset.
The Beatles will not be a part of Apple Music. I suspect there may be some more artists resisting the streaming world but I think it's going to be a pretty small number. I would be shocked to see King Crimson's iTunes offerings included.

I'm the Grandmother. Someone please tell me what is going on. I'm lazy or it's just not worth plowing through all the BS to find out what's really going on.

We really won't know what is not included until tomorrow besides The Beatles. That has been confirmed. I think Apple's being vague right now because there are probably a lot of last-minute deals going on. Witness Taylor Swift's 1989, which is now definitely going to be available but wasn't going to be available on Apple Music just one short week ago.
