WOW! If my first experience with an Apple product was Apple Music on an Android device, I would never ever use an Apple product again. It's so bad. First it's still in beta long after the 3 month trial period ended. I could legitimately see Apple being sued over it. Especially when you consider the condition their Apple Music App on Android is in.

You "literally" can't even get to the accounts page when the trial is over without praying to the rain gods when the moon and the sun are perfectly aligned. I'm an iPhone user and I was helping out a friend with Apple Music on his Android device and it's the worst GD experience I have ever had with an Apple product or Google product to date....and I've had some pretty frustrating experiences with Google products. I'm like ready to tell him to use Spotify's service and forget that Apple Music exists. I mean WOW!!!! The forgot my password link doesn't work. I just get this infinite loading icon.

If Apple was going to make their Apple Music app available on other platforms, people should at least get 3 months of non-beta use. The data alone is very valuable to Apple and their Apple Music efforts on Android devices. It's also a gateway app to getting Android users to buy Macs and iPads and other Apple products even if it's not the iPhone.

It feels like Apple has gotten too iPhone centric and lost the big picture. They want to sell products to whoever will buy them with a seamless wonderful easy experience. No need to cut out Android users from Apple just because they aren't using an iPhone. Many of those same people own and buy macs and iPads.

I wasted 4 hours trying to figure out what the hell is wrong and I have no answer for him.

I hope this isn't the case for me, we all have iPhones on the Apple Music family plan, except for my wife who stubbornly holds onto her Nexus 5. I was going to test it this week on 'Roid.

Ok. *shrugs*
News flash someone having trouble with beta software, stupid Apple give me free stuff. That sum it up? If you did this over the last few days, if you aren't aware, Apple was suffering systemwide outages that might have contributed. There is a new update today on the play store that seems to address problems. On my Galaxy S7 edge, I have had no problems knock on wood.

It's easy to laugh at @AdonisSMU, but Apple DID become too iPhone-centric. Not necessarily because AM on Android is a clusterduck, but in general.

I've been waiting so long for Apple to finally figure syncing offline files. Maybe something will change on Monday but I don't hold my breath.

I decided to give Apple Music another chance, even thought it meant €9.99 – my free trial has been over for a while. Wow.

Opened the app. Crashed before I had a chance to do anything. OK.
Opened the app again. Clicked sign in. As I was typing in my password suddenly "For You" bar appeared and the app became unresponsive. Killed it.
Opened the app AGAIN. Decided to see how gapless is doing. Downloaded Madonna's "Confessions Tour". By which I mean I clicked download and watched my Xperia Z5 Compact get really hot while notification told me "download starting". Killed it.
Opened the app AGAIN. Yay! Album downloaded. But wait! There are gaps between tracks. Switched to Airplane Mode. Gaps between tracks. Moved tracks from SD card to internal memory. Gaps between tracks. Tried Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells II". Gaps between tracks.

Off to cancel my subscription after two hours of using it. I like to think that maybe things improve within coming 30 days but I'm not holding my breath. And this is not a beta anymore. 1.0.1 lads and ladies. Suddenly Spotify being unable to keep its widget in memory and taking 20 seconds to open seems heavenly. It hasn't crashed on me once (except widget which crashes every 15 minutes – but music continues playing... gapless... without heating my phone up). Syncing local files is a PITA but works.

I'd love to meet AM Android testing team. It probably consists of Dilbert and his dog. Or maybe the whole app is supposed to convince me to buy an iPhone (didn't work, sorry guys).

Android app is much better on my Nexus 6p. Even on my sold Nexus 6 it was more stable after the very last beta. Now it has not crashed once or stopped playing. It also remembers where a song is left off after a call or resuming.
