I have tons of songs in my library. I prefer to see the songs under "songs" in the sidebar as a list (which is how I have it set as below).

When I search for a song, I want to see that list filtered instead of automatically going to the standard search that shows album covers (as below). So for example, I have searched for "Soundtrack" and it automatically switches to this view when I put the cursor in the search bar.

When I search, I just want to see a list of the soundtracks in my library (similar to the first screen). This use to be the view in iTunes a while back and I miss it. Does anyone know how to get search results to filter this way? I am aware I could sort the songs list by "Soundtrack" but that means lots of scrolling and manual looking and I'm often search for a phrase, like trying to find a "waterfall" sound effects that don't always sort easily. I also want to be able to see columns like "Date Added" which won't show in the view above.
