I apologize for the rage in the title, but this has me fuming.
I like my music and music videos DRM free, except for what I download songs from Apple Music.
So I buy the new single and video by Jackie Evancho. (My music taste doesn't matter here.)

The song I bought is DRM free (and shows up as "iCloud status: purchased")
But look at the Music video, it has FairPlay!!! and, as you know I can't play it anywhere else BUT through iTunes!!!

Was this caused by my Apple Music trial/subscription? or was this a bug? If Apple Music keeps my music videos under DRM and prevents me from viewing them on other devices, I am STRONGLY thinking of cancelling.

I'll chat with Apple and see what they say.

Weren't videos always protected? By the way, even with FairPlay you can still play that video on your Mac, your PC, your iPhone, your iPod, your iPad, and your AppleTVs.

Not Music Videos. This is a music video, NOT a Movie. Movies have always had DRM on them. Music Videos haven't had DRM on them since Apple announced iTunes Plus. This has only happened today. Android devices can't play them.
