So at a first glance, I was in love with Apple Music. After using it for about 2 weeks now, I have noticed some pretty big issues, and none of it has to do with music coming from the Apple Music service. For select songs in my iTunes library (most of them downloaded from places other than iTunes because they aren't available, like mixtapes or remixes provided by the artist), I am unable to add them to my phone despite them being in my iTunes Library. All of these songs have dashed clouds next to them. When I turn off the feature only displaying songs downloaded to my phone, these songs show up, but are "greyed out" and won't let me download them from the cloud. I get a message saying the files cannot be added due to the iCloud library being on when trying to sync them from my computer. Last time this happened when I first got Apple Music when NONE of my personal music was syncing, turning off the iCloud library and turning it back on worked. So I tried it again, and it did nothing besides delete all the music I had from Apple Music from my phone. For some reason even Apple Music songs are not syncing to my iTunes now. Any advice would be appreciated, or at least someone having the same issue so I can see what has/hasn't worked for you.

I have had problems with the new Apple Music. Again they have taken away the ability to shuffle when selecting a genre to play. I also miss being able to shuffle an artists albums. This was an issue once before and they finally fixed it.

As for your issue, it took me forever to figure out why my music wasn't syncing to my phone. I finally found what you did and it finally worked. Turning off the iCloud Music Library brought my music back, so I'm not sure what has happened with your music. Except for the shuffle issue I'm getting used to the new look.
