Apple music query

I have apple music and love it and the wife has just made the switch from android to iO, whilst setting up her apple id she has took up the free 3 month apple music trial.

I want to add her apple id to my account so we can do family sharing but I had my apple music free trial when it first came out so expired a couple of month ago. If I do this with her apple id will that stop her 3 month trial ?

Once her trial is up I am pretty sure I'll be wanting to change my £9.99 sub to the £14.99 family one but it seems daft to do that now as she has it free for a bit.

You will need to wait until after the trial to add her to your Family plan. You can't add her to your family plan and have Apple deduct her trail amount from your balance.

You missed the boat on the free family trial. I'm on my second free trial now. I set up my phone with the free family trial first. 3 months later I set up my wife's on the free family trial. 6 free months for the whole family! Yeah! I don't know if I'll keep it after that.

I'll just wait then till the 3 months is up and then set it up on the family plan.
