Hi all,

I currently use Apple Music for my iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPad. I just wanted your opinion on do you guys turn Dolby Atmos on in the Music Settings and do you download in Dolby Atmos?
I use the AirPods Pro and was wondering do you actually notice a difference with Dolby Atmos turned on as opposed to off, and if you do, does music generally sound better?

I mainly listen to Hip-Hop and R&B so wondering if I should turn it on or not....

I turn it all off. Regardless if it’s actually mixed for Atmos, all audio is recorded for stereo first and foremost then mixed for Atmos after. Some sound good, some sound awful but turning it all off is the most consistent for all music.

Oh so you don't stream or download in Dolby Atmos?
Do you actually noticed a different when it's on and off?

I can't really notice a difference which is weird...
You have to have headphones that support it firstly. Additionally, it’s not the same as say bitrate where someone might be able to tell the difference. It’s like watching a movie in Dolby vs stereo, you’ll notice if your hardware setup supports it and are listening to something mixed for it.

I have the AirPods Pro...
Maybe these are not good enough?
