I just started my Apple Music trial. I'm happy with it so far, but I have a big question:
Let's say in a few years I've added a few hundred tracks to my Music library from Apple Music, and I end my subscription. What happens to those tracks?
Do they just vanish from the library? Or do they stay in the list but become unplayable?
I would rather the latter happen, so then I can go through the unplayable tracks and purchase (to own) the ones I really want. Basically, I'd rather not be able to accidentally lose the metadata that is the tracks I've added to my library.
Since I can't turn off my subscription without losing the trial, I can't test this, so I wonder what others may have experienced. Thanks for any input!
