Hi,

I'm having a problem where apple music seems to be removing the tracks i've downloaded for offline listening. What usually happens is this:

  1. I set a playlist to be available offline (let's saying it has 150 songs)
  2. The bar will show 150 songs downloading, but will suddenly jump to say 100 songs remaining
  3. The downloads will complete, but 50 songs haven't downloaded, so I press 'make available offline again'
  4. The remaining 50 songs will download
  5. Sometime that day or over the next few days, all the downloaded songs will be deleted
There are a bunch of topics on the apple support forums about it. I called Apple and they said they'd never heard of it and would forward to an engineer. It's so annoying because apple music has the potential to be everything I want in a streaming service, but if I can't have offline music it's pointless.

Has anyone had this issue and managed to resolve it?

Same issue but not resolved it. Many times when expecting to have lot of downloaded music it's empty, not even a single one....Strange is that what failed on my iPod 5 Gen did works to download to my iPhone 6 Plus.

Have you updated to 9.1 yet? I wonder if this has a fix.

Have latest fw on both. I tried too few times to be sure there is a difference between the two devices. Anyway it's annoying that it many times not got downloaded.

Having the same issue with iOS 9.1. My library was stable for weeks, now with the update, playlists have to be re downloaded. I've found you really have to be on stable WiFi for AM to sync properly. If you sync while on cellular is where I've had the most hiccups.
