This seems to be a relatively new behavior, and I don't recall it happening with 14.3, but maybe it did? Anyways, whenever I connect my AirPods, Apple Music pops up on the Lock Screen. It doesn't play anything. That's weird. Now when it connects to my car via bluetooth, it starts playing Apple Music. This is a new behavior. How do I stop that? 12 Pro, 14.4.

This does this in my car and is very annoying. You plug it in and it starts playing iTunes purchases.

Music would automatically start playing when my phone connected to my car too. It was very annoying because I don't normally want to stream music over Bluetooth to the car. Once in a while, yes, but not usually. That started years ago; it's not related to any recent iOS update or newer phones. The only way I found to make it stop was to disable Bluetooth music in my car's settings and just leave Bluetooth phone enabled. BMW's iDrive allows that, but I haven't seen that option in some other types of cars.

Yeah this started happening to me since iOS 9 maybe? Around when AM was released. Since I didn’t use the service I ‘uninstalled’ the app as soon as we were able to and it solved the issue for me.

Happens to my wife but generally only when the last "CarPlay" app she used before getting into the car was music.
