I sometimes try to buy a song and Apple music crap comes up. Am I to assume, iTunes no longer sells songs? Apple wants me to pay for Apple Music so I can pay to download a song? Please, tell me I'm getting this all wrong.

Settings > Music > Turn off Show Apple Music.
