Apple Music with multiple Apple IDs

I basically use 2 apple IDs. One is my Panama App store, which is my main account, set with my credit card and family share. I enabled Apple Music on that account.
The other account I have is a US based account, that I use with FreeMyApps. All my kids have both Panama accounts and US accounts to collect points from FMA.

The problem I'm having is: I have all my music set on my phone, with many offline albums and all, but once I switch to my US account, it deletes everything, since stops using iCloud music library, and asks to enable Apple Music again.
It doesn't work like when I use my US account for App Store, but still I use iCloud with my other account. The are separate logins, as it should be.

Is there a way I can still use both Apple IDs, but lock Apple Music to not switch accounts? Being an iCloud service, I expected it will use whichever account I'm logged in on the iCloud settings, but no. It still uses the App Store login.

Apple Music is a service under iTunes Store, hence it follows iTunes/App store logins. Unfortunately I can't offer you any advise on dealing with this on stock iOS.

However one thing you can try on your computer is to create a new empty iTunes library and sync your apps there instead. This way your main library's Apple Music library is not affected but in this new library you can switch iTunes accounts without bothering about offline music being removed.

But since, for everything iCloud based, it has its own login, I simply let the US account logged in all the time. But now that I'm using Apple Music, if I do that, my music is not there, and is asking me to join Apple Music. I don't want to do that with the US account, since I don't have a credit card with a US billing address, so I won't be able to pay for Apple music once the trial ends.

I'm saying you can perform your steps as usual except one. Instead of downloading the required app from App Store in iOS, download from iTunes on your Mac instead and sync the app to your iPhone. Then continue the steps as usual.

May be a bit of a hassle but just an alternative.

Go it. Makes sense.

I just downloaded a new App, and I got credited for it. Although, I was still logged in as my Panama account. I guess it will work, as long as the App is available in both stores. When I find an App is only available on the US store, I'll use the iTunes approach.

Is a workaround, but I guess I can live with it.
