Hi guys, was just curious to get the opinions of some others. When it comes to using services like apple music or spotify, do you prefer to just stream music or do you also save music for offline listening. Or are you ok with using data to stream on-the go?

Just interested in your opinions, thanks

I don't have data on my iPhone, so I save songs for offline listening.

Used to have 128GB, but now I have a 64GB iPhone because I don't store my full 60GB library on there anymore since I got Apple Music. I just download a few albums to keep the offline library relevant.

Depends. I keep a few smaller playlists (~2 hrs of music) downloaded in case I am inside a large building where LTE coverage is spotty.

If you'd like to listen to just a few favorite playlists, no need to download them to your devices. Apple Music will cache those songs for you.
That said, even though I listen to music randomly I almost never download them. Streaming is fast enough.

Sometimes just listen offline, as i have but i usually listen to my own version non-DRM, in VLC because i hate the way Apple can change/update offline content...... I never asked for that... and that includes all issues too. Its the only reason why i get round DRM, but if Apple fixes this... then i'll be ok ...., (umm.. maybe i can make them a deal) and advertising of such.

As for my phone, i don't really listen much as i'm on prepaid only..... no point is upgrading to contract just to music listening....

I typically stream, but I am on work's wifi all day and my own wifi at night. I have enough data to get me from work and back, which is mainly where I would be on cellular.

I always download the album to my library, as I prefer uninterrupted, hassle free listening, and I like being Albee to search my library for albums to listen to, and have them all visible in the one place.
