Didn't see this at all but just a heads up to fellow Canadian iPhone users that the Apple News app is now available in Canada.

The app showed up on my iPhone screen and started using it. It's pretty cool and probably will replace my rss app. However, some sources (like CNN) is not available in Canada.

Same here. No News app available for my Canadian 7 Plus from Virgin Mobile

Bought a 7 over the weekend and it was there on setup. Only had the widget previously on my 5s.

could still be rolling out. Not on beta (10.1) and with Telus. Possible you need to be on wifi.

Also, I should mention that my phone was acting weird and had to reboot (froze). Once I rebooted, it was there.

here's a pic of my iPhone screen.

I don't understand - what exactly is the holdup behind a simple news app? Is there some money involved behind the scenes and Apple is trying to hammer out deals like Apple Pay or something?

I saw News Publisher Beta on iCloud.com a week ago and it disappeared shortly (Mexican Account). Maybe a second wave of News release is approaching?
