Hello Guys

Not sure if it the right sub-category forum but I wanted to open this topic to share Apple News happening in Singapore. If you are in SG, let us know and share your news!

Apple Watch coming to M1

On 1st of November, Apple Watch will come to M1. There will be also a cellular plan. It will cost 6.90SGD per month with an activation fee of 37.45 SGD (LOL). 6 months for free are offered but it is kind of useless with this activation fee. I'll ask a commercial gesture to lift it. Read the FAQ & Terms for more info.

Apple Watch Series 5 Ceramic unavailable at Apple Store Orchard

On the Apple Store website, the Apple Watch Ceramic is not available for pick-up in store. However, I went last week and they had some in stocks. So, if you are interested, walk-in and ask!

What are you getting / what did you just buy?

I'll wait next month to buy the iPhone Pro in white, a ceramic watch and the rumoured Airpods Pro. I suggest to look at Google for Popular Times as it can get very crowded!

Share with us what you bought and how was your experience!

Thanks for the heads up. The funny thing is that M1 support is not listed on the Apple Watch page, but it is mentioned in the carrier support page. Quite misleading.

I got the Nike series 5 (non-cellular) on 5 October (I really wanted the Nike band as I sweat a lot at work). I doubt I would have opted for the cellular version either way even though I am with M1, as I am rarely without my phone. The only scenarios I can think of where this might be useful are running or when you go back for reservist and enter a red zone. This happened to me a few weeks back, so I synced some playlists to my Apple Watch beforehand so I could still listen to music with my AirPods (as you know, army is wait to rush, rush to wait).

Speaking of AirPods, I just got the updated version earlier this year, so I don’t see myself picking up the pro AirPods, tempting as they seem. Is there a case for owning both?

Hello there

I got last week an iPhone 11 Pro, AirPods Pro, Watch Ceramic and some accessories.

For the AirPods Pro, best is to check online in the morning and select "pick-up". They had 5 available on the table but I guess they were for pick-up only.

I am interested in an Hermès band, I'll have a look.

I also went to the Apple Store in JEWEL. It's pretty nice but smaller.

Does tiny Singapore really need a third Apple store?

I was wondering why we were getting 3 Apple Stores. Isn’t it the most by population?
Singapore - 3 stores, 5.6 million people
San Francisco Bay Area - 16 stores, 7.8 million people
