In the Apple News app settings there is an setting to "Restrict Stories in Today". Only stories from channels you follow will appear in Today. All other sources will be blocked.
In iOS 13, with this setting enabled, the News widget will only ever display the text "Read Stories in Apple News", which when tapped, takes you to the News app itself. In other words, Apple restricts you from viewing solely the stories from the channels you follow directly from the widget.
I'm curious if this has changed at all with iOS 14. I know you can have the widget display certain topics, but can it now display just the stories you're subscribed to?
