Makes sense. Apple is nowhere to be seen beyond a couple dozen rich countries - they don't even have an Apple store in the whole continent of Africa. Other companies operate everywhere - rich or poor.

At a first level of approximation "The World" means "China and India". Most people live in one of those two places. The US is a distance third place in terms of population. Apple is not very big in "The World".

Amazon, IKEA, UNIQLO are pretty popular in Africa, aren't they?

Whatever. Clickbait.

If that's true, then Apple haters should stop saying "People buy iPhones just because of the brand".
