Lesson of the day: go register your mbp, you might get a gift from apple.... ;)

really? i order macworld back when i got my mbp cuz i thought, oh macworld conference, must be good...

then i heard of macaddict.

Do u guys ever receive it ? I registered on May with MacLife choice but never actually receive anything. How do i contact apple about this ? Coulnt find any email contact for this matter.

Both MacAddict and MacWorld sent me renewal notices before I received any issues. :D Be patient, they're being cheap.

Well, that sucks, renewal notice means 6 months before getting any real issues.

Considering that both magazines were about out of business, I'm not sure that it matters but the renewal notice should be within 6 weeks of their initial e-mail confirmation.

Now thats strange. After registered my macbook pro and chosen the Maclife sub., I only received 1 email from Apple saying "Dear..., Thanks for registering your Mac....). Thats it, nothing else. Hm

I went with MacWorld and hate it. It is a useless publication. These forums are infinitely more informative.

There is a UK version of that mag (or maybe a different mag all together?) and after reading two issues I'll never buy it again.

Total crap - they haven't a clue what they are talking about. One person said, "Greener Apple? They were meant to replace their LCD screens with LED's, but that only happened on the MBP's, the new iMac still uses the old inefficent LCD method".

When you read daftness like that, you kinda loose faith in the mag.

MacFormat is a much better magazine, as are all the other Future magazines. It's unfortunate that they're US$16.99 here.
