Eddy Cue at Re/Code conference, Craig Federighi dominating WWDC keynote, now Jony Ive here. Is this evidence of a new Apple under Tim Cook where he's allowing his executive team to be more front and center?

Wonder if these events are related to Katie Cotton's "retirement". The company now needs lots of interesting public personalities to replace the singular Jobs.

It's entirely possible that Cotton was more comfortable working under Steve than Tim. I get the sense Tim is OK with Apple being a bit more open, allowing executives to be in the spotlight more. Perhaps Cotton wasn't on board with that.
