Hey there!

After it was announced that apple discontinues it's 11, 12 mini and 13 pro & pro max's models, do we expect to see retailers bumping up it's price? aspecially for that 13 pro model.
I'm interested at buying it but wanted to wait for the 14 model to lay it's effect on the 13 pro price, but after reading this I'm unsure that will it happen only in few months but more likely to be not less than a year.

What do you think?

Well, the wording “discontinue“ for iPhone 11/12 mini/13/13 Pro is not that right. More like “stop selling through Apple Store“, but that’s besides the point.
And for the price? Retailers would more like to lower the price to clear the stock than trying to bump the price for a quick cash grab, not to mention 13 Pro line offering more features than 14 Plus for lower Price would entice some more savvy users to chase after those, further driving the sales. Latest lineup from Apple is where money goes.

Thank you for the answer.
Well the wording "discontinue" is confusing. I live in Israel, therefore all the iPhone are imported, meaning that the retailers has more space to wiggle the prices, now actually a lot of stores are does not have 13 pro in their stock and who ever has it sell it for 1,120$ (approx).

"Discontinue" does NOT mean seize it's manufacturing line?

You can still get 11 through to 12 pro models through Apple certified refurbished.

The 13 pro's will be there soon so supply through Apple won't be completely halted
