I need to upgrade as I'm at 200GB and I was thinking that as I have Apple TV already and have a 3 month free trial for Apple Music - I can combine them. It'll only save me $3 a month as I have no interest in Apple Arcade, Apple News+ or Apple Fitness+.

1. Can I share the storage with may partner?
2. If I share Apple Music will my partners library selection ruin mine? We shared a Spotify account and it annoyed me that it combined the recommendations.

You need to take the family plan. This is the only way to share it. Apple Music is like two accounts then - like Spotify Family. Of course it is very uncomfortable to share one Spotify Account without the family option.
