Hi

Currently we pay £16.99 for Spotify family, £2.49 x 2 for my Wife and I to have 200GB cloud storage and my Apple TV Plus sub is about to start charging as the free trial is ending.

My plan is to get the Apple One plan for £19.99 a month for us both but how would it work for the icloud storage we both use? Would it just merge the existing one into the new One plan? Worried we might have to start again if I did the One setup and family shared the parts with my wife.

Thanks

Nothing would really change other than your existing 200GB cloud storage space would then be shared for your wife (and anyone else you'd add to your family plan). It would be completely transparent for the stuff that you and your wife currently have stored in icloud.

i already had iCloud storage for the family and added apple one - all that happened was the quota increased to 2TB.

i think apple is still refunding $4.99 per month on apple one since for whatever reason they are just not charging for appleTV+ yet.

Thanks all

will have to think about it as we both need the 200GB but adding the 2TB to the £19.99 family one plan brings it to £29.99 I think so May as well get the premier plan anyway!

You can also get the apple one plan and then just pay the extra to get an additional 200GB of iCloud storage for a total of 400GB.
