Apple Online Store Price Changes

Hi,

How frequently do the prices change for Macs ? Like did they change this week? Do they change on a daily basis?

Just wonder because I've been making notes (Studio and Macbook Pro) and it seems that the prices don't add up the same as they did earlier in the week.

I was under the impression that Apple's pricing is rather stable, but I have not really followed Apple's trends.

I'm trying to figure out if I need to keep better notes or be ready to pounce at the right moment . . .

Okay, I think earlier in the week an educational discount was applied.

I think I know that answer, but is the educational discount available to everyone ?

Technically, the discount isn't available to everyone, but Apple doesn't verify one way or the other in the US.
