Apple Order Status question

Hey everyone,
I ordered my new 30GB black 5G iPod on Sunday , and the shipping date is November 9th. When I bought it, it said 5-7 business days. I was just wondering in other people's experience when buying from the Apple Store online was the shipping date accurate? I also ordered the dock and it shipped the same day I ordered it and it had a November 9th shipping estimate too. So is the iPod in such high demand that it will take to the 9th to ship? Just kind of getting restless because I sold my old iPod and I don't have one so its kind of annoying but it is worth it for the new one. Thanks

Well My new iMac wasn't expected to ship until 11/2 but it was delivered today.... It shipped on 10/27

They just do that to give them enough time, b/c if they post a ship date thats earlier and it misses that, then you'll be aggravated.

It may ship sooner, or it may ship on the 9th. But those iPods are in high demand so I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't ship till then.

I think it was 10/22 which was a saturday, and it shipped the thursday 10/27, so in reality 3-4 business days to ship.
