In Canada not sure if that is making a difference

Builder says m4 max 14 core cpu/32 core gpu is an $850 price increase but when you add the option the price goes up by $1100

Cant figure out if I am missing something but seems broken. The config literally says add $850 but it adds $1100

edit**

figured it out, the ram bump causes the price to go up more. imo kind of sneaky the way the config shows the price bump even though you have no option on the ram

Yep, it was the same with previous models. I
When you select something that requires another addition, it increases the price. It’s similar on vehicle configuration websites, but they usually have a pop-up saying “Adding X requires the addition of Z, do you want to continue?” Maybe Apple should do this so people won’t be so confused as to why the price changed
