Apple Pages does not see Office 2016 Fonts

Office installs fonts in a separate folder in the font library. I don't know if this prevents access to them by the rest of the system.

I saw that, but it doesn't tell you how to get them to be seen by all the other apps. I also do not see that folder on my drive.
Office 2016 installs fonts in each application folder not in the usual Fonts > Microsoft folder. Look in the package contents of each 2016 app to view fonts. As a result, multiple copies of fonts are installed.

You can't, because they changed the system so each app has its own fonts for sandboxing reasons for eventual distribution on the Mac App Store (only reason they would do it this way).
If you can find the actual font files in these application packages then you can just copy them manually to your own fonts folder (~/Library/Fonts) or let Font Book import them for you.
To check the application packages, just right-click on an application in Finder and select ‘Show Package Contents’. Fonts are often located under Contents > Resources. You might want to use Spotlight for this once you're browsing the application package (when you type ‘font’ it gives you an option to filter TrueType or OpenType font files).
Sorry to dig up this thread but I've got this problem after doing a fresh install on my MBP and am finding it really annoying.
I can see the fonts I want in the MS app package contents, but when I try to install them, Font Book tells me there are serious errors with the fonts and warns me not to install them!
Anyone got any ideas?

The fonts are actually in the applications for Office Mac 2016.
Right Click on MS Word for example, and click "Show Package Contents", then go to
Contents > Resources > DFonts
Since they are True Type Fonts (.ttf), you can load them in your font book as well,

On Sierra you can just copy the font file to ~\Library\Fonts (note that Library is a hidden folder)
The path for the font files are (for word 2016): /Applications/Microsoft Word.app/Contents/Resources/Fonts/
