So, I've installed the new Microsoft Office 2016 Preview on my new MacBook Pro... Why are Pages and other apps not seeing all those new fonts? Only Office can see all the new ones.
Office installs fonts in a separate folder in the font library. I don't know if this prevents access to them by the rest of the system.

Office 2016 installs fonts in each application folder not in the usual Fonts > Microsoft folder. Look in the package contents of each 2016 app to view fonts. As a result, multiple copies of fonts are installed.
Excel 203 * (521.8 MB)
OneNote 63 (76 MB)
Outlook 36 (104.2 MB)
PowerPoint 203 (521.8 MB)
Word 203 *(521.8 MB)
Total 1779.2 MB 1.7375 GB
How can I get those fonts so other apps can use them?
How can I get those fonts so other apps can use them?
Sorry to dig up this thread but I've got this problem after doing a fresh install on my MBP and am finding it really annoying.
I can see the fonts I want in the MS app package contents, but when I try to install them, Font Book tells me there are serious errors with the fonts and warns me not to install them!
Anyone got any ideas?
