Hi all,

I recently visited an arcade where I used my Apple Card to pay. I tapped to pay as usual, and didn’t think anything of it. Today I got an email from the arcade through the “hide my email service”.

When I clicked on the hide my email contact within the mail app, it had my phone number and actual email address.

I did NOT provide ANY of this information. It was a simple tap to pay transaction. What gives?

In the hide my email settings, the label shows checkout.square.site

Check in Settings> Wallet & Apple Pay where you can set the defaults for the information for the transaction, and note that it can different on each device, iPhone, iPad, etc.

Thanks. I looked there. The number in that section is my home number. The number square collected was my cell number.
