So I've been following as closely as I can to Apple Pay coming to Canada. Previously, another web site had indicated it may be coming later this month or early next month. Obviously, I'd like it to come sooner than later, but am starting to lose faith.

I did notice one interesting thing and that is TD Canada Trust actually has a link specifically for Apple Pay, though it is blank.

None the less, it does exist.. https://www.tdcanadatrust.com/products-services/banking/electronic-banking/applepay.jsp

I'm not sure how long it's been there, and curious to see if/when it gets populated with anything.

Anyone else find any other hints?

Canada is my city
I don't even have an iPhone, but I'm damn excited for this. I actually use TD as my bank, so this means that it's definitely going to be compatible with AP.

Great White North - aka Canada
Seems TD is covering up.

Apple is rumoredto be rolling Apple Pay out in Canada as early as the end of this month, but TD’s website update was quickly removed; in a tweet, the company confirmed that Apple Pay is still not available in Canada, apologizing to customers for the mistaken information on its site.

I love that response. They totally had to put their BS face on for that one.

Any idea if WSJD is able to be viewed online? I was disappointed by Re/Code's videos of Code Mobile. It looks like Tim is speaking on Monday, October 18th (as per http://wsjdlive.wsj.com/schedule/). Can't wait!

No, they usually don't live stream it. Only put up the videos a few days later.

I am sure there will be a article the moment Tim Cook says the word though. Journalist at these events are usually allowed to write about what happens right away.

I believe The Verge is going to live blog it though.

It just seems odd that they are doing it as WSJD and didn't do it at Re/code
