Hi,

I was wondering if Apple Pay Cash was device specific? For example, it looks like I had to set it up twice. Once for my iPhone and the other on my iPad. Is it synced at all? It does not appear to be so. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

You must turn it on on all eligible devices, but once it’s enabled, the Apple Pay cash balance and transactions appear on all devices. So it must sync via iCloud.

The bank account syncs over as well. So all you have to do is enable it and make sure the device has a debit card in Apple Pay.

It is device specific, just like Apple Pay is. You have to turn it on on all of your eligible devices.

How do I turn on for my Apple Watch? I don’t see an option.

The reason I asked the original question was because each device has a different ID in the settings.

I entered my bank account info on my iPhone, but it didn’t sync to my iPad. It prompts me to enter the routing and account numbers. When you set it up did the bank account information sync or did you have to enter for each device?

It synced over. I set it up on my iPhone yesterday morning. And last night I enabled APC on my iPad and my bank was there.

Does the Apple Pay Cash Card show up for everyone as "Discover Debit" when you click the card details? Also, did everyone have to verify themselves w/ certain personal infirmation?

Mine shows up as discover debit and I needed to verify myself as well.

Mine shows that as well, how do I get it to use my Chase Debit instead?

Had to call Apple Support to get mine activated properly (turn off and turn back on). The support agent said that all Apple Pay Cash Cards will show as Discover Debit, so the card works like a Discover Card when making purchases.

Yes.

Its not actually a Discover Debit. Is your debit, its just called that.
The Apple Pay Cash card is actually a Discover Debit card issued by Green Dot. So, it should be accepted anywhere Discover is accepted. Except that soda machine on Interstate 80 in nowhere Pennsylvania that I tried it on on Sunday!

I was referring to a quote that was talking about the debit card you add, because they wanted to know why it didn't say Chase. Not the APC card.
