iPhone X Apple Pay corrupted chip?

Took my X into apple yesterday as I have been having random shut downs.
Apple ran diagnostics and came back Apple Pay chip failed due to curruption.
Has anybody else had this problem?
Apple exchanged my X for a replacement.

First time hearing it, but why is that important to you as long as they replaced your phone. It’s not a wide spread issue.

I just wondered if anyone else has heard of this problem,that’s all.
