Apple Pay for Dunkin/Panera?

When is Apple Pay coming for Dunkin/Panera rewards programs? And other store cards for that matter?

Dunkin Donuts and Panera do support Apple Pay. Simply install both apps, purchase a card through the app and they will ask you if you wish to import to wallet for Apple Pay.

I can't find an option to purchase a gift card in the Panera app. Also, does the gift card get transmitted with NFC or is it barcode based (like with Starbucks)?

Purchasing a gift card is not possible through the app unfortunately. I do believe that you can redeem the card.
