Apple Pay in holland and Germany

Anyone successfully used Apple Pay in either holland or Germany ? I suspect it's not available yet because Apple hasn't teamed up with maestro yet despite being owned by MasterCard.

I have used Apple Pay in Germany a few times (with UK debit and credit cards), not tried it in The Netherlands, so can't comment on that. In Germany there is the usual contactless cap. Acceptance of contactless in Germany is pretty much third world, but the anxiety of modern payments (credit card etc.) saved them pretty much from the banking disaster some years back.

It works in the Netherlands (I have UK credit card, Boon, set up for ApplePay). It works with any contactless terminal.
