Is it only me or in iOS 11, Apple Pay requires you to double click home button to bring up passes and credit cards and only then it seems to work at payment terminals.

Previously, until iOS 10.x, you just had to bring the iPhone close to a payment terminal and it brought up the wallet screen even if screen is locked.

Could be... I guess I had always double tapped the home button to get it to come up before putting it near the terminal, so I am already use to doing it that way...

No it works the same as before. Enabled once you get close enough to NFC.

It seems a bit slower to pop up but you shouldn’t have to double tap. I just used it at Walgreens at lunch and it came up on its own.
