So this is my first time doing Apple Py no interest 24 month financing. Here’s my questions.

1. Can you pay the full amount if you ever decide to pay in full, or you’re stuck with the monthly installments for the whole 24 month term?

2. Is the phone still unlocked even it’s purchased with a plan? I purchased the unlocked version, if I did the installment does that mean it’s “locked” and it can’t be sold unless that whole 24 month term (or sooner if possible) has finished?

1 - Yes, you can pay off early.
2 - If you bought a sim free the iPhone is unlocked even if you are on monthly payments.

Technically you are buying the iPhone outright, but instead of doing a full payment Apple allows you to pay on a monthly basis interest free.

Thanks. I’ve always paid in full and this is the first time I selected monthly because the 0% interest free is appealing. I tried to check if I can pay it off now instead and there’s no such feature. Is it because it’s a new purchase and phone hasn’t arrived yet (I ordered yesterday)? Maybe pay off feature will show when the phone arrives next week?

My sales tax is the only thing showing on my AC and it’s just pending. Saw a note that say the monthly installment will be billed at the end of the month. I don’t think we can pay it off till it shows up at the end of this month.

To add to this, in order to pay off early your other balances need to be paid off to zero. Which make sense since your normal balance carries interest.

Thanks guys... so basically I need to pay off my card to zero first in order to pay more of the installment balance.

thanks.
