Apple Pay is not working on my M1 MacBook Air (512GB / 8GB). It asks for TouchID and verifies it, but then displays a "payment not processed" error with a red exclamation mark in the TouchID circle.

I've tried it on three different websites and two different M1 MBA. All give me the same error. Have removed cards and re-added them, same error.

Has anyone else had the same error? I've already provided feedback to Apple via their website. Is there anywhere else I should raise this query to?

Yeah I’m having this issue too on my new M1 Air. I’ll get “payment not completed” for all my cards regardless of bank, and no amount of restarting or re-adding fixes it. If I try the same sites on my iPhone with the same cards the payments go through fine. This is on a fresh install of Big Sur as well.

I have same issue. Funny thing that same card are fully working and all other devices like iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch with no issue. I think it is problem with Big Sur.
Touch ID is also fully functional.

I am getting Apple Pay will not work due to security settings. I have tried the advanced option under software updates and no dice. Using a MacBook Air M1.

I had this, and I tried what seemed to be everything under the sun to get it to work but the only thing that got it working again was doing a complete wipe and starting fresh.

I actually got it working after talking to Apple Support. The fix is that you have to sign out of iCloud and then sign back in. That worked for me.

I can't even add a card... All my CC work fine on my iPhone, still I can't add none of them on the MacBook Air M1...

Thanks. That also worked for me.
yes had to do this too. and for curve card I even had to change the phone number with them to my second sims number, because their Apple Pay texts with the verify code, weren't forthcoming at all!
