I just updated from macOS 11.6.3 to 12.2 on a M1 iMac. Installation went smoothly in less than one hour.

Checking System Preferences/Wallet & Apple Pay shows three credit cards but all of them have the message "

Apple Pay on your Mac is turned off"

Anyone else seeing this? My next step is to call Apple Support.

Well, some time ago a relatives friend faced a similar problem. Is there aren't any "require your attention" notifications under AppleID then try to re-add them first (i know it's can take a while, but I'm pretty sure that Apple rep will tell you to do so)

I removed "-" one card and then immediately added it back. Once completed, in a few moments all three cards were accepted for use by Apple Pay. Go figure.
